Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Paramedic at Whiteman Air Force Base located just south of Knob Noster, MO.

Job Requirements:

Degree: Certificate.
• Education: Graduate from an accredited NREMT program.
• Certification: Possess and maintain certification as an NREMT, NRAEMT, NRP from the National
• Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) or applicable state EMT certification.
• Experience: One year of experience as an EMT, NREMT, NRAEMT or NRP after graduation.

Duties:

• Provide a full range of EMT services within the MTF and supported geographical area.Maintain proficiency in the operation of the ambulance radio equipment.Monitor and operate ambulance radio equipment as required by the circumstances.Provide the patient with the necessary and appropriate medical care, consistent withambulance equipment and supplies, and personnel certification, training, and experienceduring transport.
• Control and properly dispose of all medical waste incurred during transport.Conduct routine restocking, cleaning, and disinfection of the vehicle, equipment, andsupplies. Ensure the ambulances are safe to operate, sanitary, and properly functioning.Document all treatment provided to the patient during the patient transport.Rapidly stabilizing the patient, according to Advance Life Support (ALS) protocol andEMS written protocols.
• Lift, place, and deliver patients to the receiving destinations for medical care. Placepatients on monitors, administer needles, IVs, oxygen, or dressings. Carry patient recordsor baggage/belongings to the destination for patient care. Redress patient's wounds.When on stand-by provide EMT/ Paramedic services may assist throughout MTF inroutine patient care support and ancillary services as needed with consent of leadership inthe scope of their credentialed /licenses.
